Вероника Ценкова

Вероника является выпускницей факультета философии Университета им. Палацкого в г. Оломоуц по специальности Профессиональный русский язык в коммерческой практике и Английский язык в направлении устный перевод и переводоведение. Она также проходила обучение в Москве и Вене, а также прошла стажировку в Лондоне. Вероника также окончила дополнительные курсы для переводчиков юридической документации, организованные университетом им. Масарика в г. Брно. В Orange Tree Вероника является переводчиком английского, русского и украинского языков и руководителем отдела английских переводов. В 2022 году она была занесена в Реестр судебных переводчиков. В рамках компании Вероника координирует процесс работы в программе CAT Memsource Cloud.

Алжбета Соперова

Алжбета является выпускницей Юридического факультета Карлова университета в Праге (1999 г.). В 2008 году она успешно сдала государственный квалификационный экзамен на получение статуса судебного переводчика и была занесена в Реестр судебных переводчиков английского языка Городским судом в Праге. Алжбета специализируется на переводах документации в области судебных процессов и арбитражного судопроизводства. У нее также имеется богатый опыт по переводам иностранных корпоративных документов на чешский язык. Алжбета приняла участие в переводе нового Гражданского кодекса ЧР на английский язык в качестве специализированного корректировщика. В Orange Tree она выступает гарантом судебных переводов. Кроме этого, Алжбета является переводчиком судебной документации с французского языка для Суда Европейского Союза.

Ева Лукешова

Ева успешно окончила Педагогический факультет Югочешского университета в г. Чешске Будеёвице в 2003 году. После обучения Ева прожила год в Лондоне, где получала дальнейшее образование и подрабатывала няней. За это время она получила 2 сертификата: CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) – профессиональный английский язык, а также коммерческий английский (English for Business/Commerce). Позже она работала в частной торговой компании как переводчик английского и немецкого языка и занимала должность ассистента директора. В 2016 году она также окончила дополнительный курс для переводчиков юридической документации (Юридикум), организованный юридическим факультетом Карлова университета по направлению немецкий язык. В Orange Tree Ева является руководителем отделения немецих переводов, а также Старшим переводчиком английского и немецкого языков.

Ян успешно окончил университет в г. Острава по специальности «Русский язык в сфере торговли» и дополнительный курс для переводчиков юридической документации, организованный университетом им. Масарика в г. Брно. С 1995 года он занимается переводами юридической документации в комбинации чешский – английский языки, а также с русского языка на чешский и английский языки. Ян специализируется, главным образом, на переводах договоров и корпоративной документации. У него также имеется многолетний опыт работы с профессиональными переводами в различных областях, одним из его партнеров в сфере образования является университет им. Масарика в г. Брно. В 2013 году Ян открыл филиал Orange Tree в г. Брно. Как руководитель он обеспечивает профессиональную коммуникацию с клиентами и организовывает работу в филиале. Он также является руководителем отделения восточнославянских переводов.

Тереза Хайманта

Тереза является выпускницей факультета социальных наук Карлова университета 2015 года по специальности Исследования безопасности, а также Метропольного университета в Праге 2013 года по специальности международные отношения и страноведение европейского региона. В 2017 году она также окончила дополнительный курс для переводчиков юридической документации (Юридикум), организованный юридическим факультетом Карлова университета по направлению русский язык, а также дополнительный курс для переводчиков экономического английского языка в 2015 г. Во время обучения Тереза получила международные языковые сертификаты: по английскому языку – CAE (Cambridge English Advanced), по русскому языку – TORFL (The Test of Russian as a Foreign Language), CIES (Certificate of International and European Studies) – сертификат по международным и европейским исследованиям. В Orange Tree она является руководителем отделения итальянских переводов, а также переводчиком с и на английский, русский и итальянский языки.

Agáta Buganská

Agáta graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno in the field of English-language Translation (2019) and completed a course for translators of legal texts organised by the Masaryk University in Brno (2020) . During her studies, she took part in an Erasmus+ study exchange programme at the University of Ljubljana and a one-semester translation traineeship at the General Secretariat of the EU Council in Brussels. In Orange Tree, Agáta co-ordinates the work of the individual language sections and project managers.

Senior Translators

Linda Luhanová

Senior Translator

Linda completed her studies at Instituto Bilingüe in Prague, a bilingual Czech-Spanish secondary school, (1998) and graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague (2005). Her long-term focus includes translations of legal and medical texts into English and also from English into Czech. Thanks to her rich linguistic background, she is also responsible for proofreading translations from other languages (e.g. Spanish, Italian and Portuguese).

Viktor Dvořák

Viktor has a Bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno (2013) and he completed a law course for translators and interpreters at the Faculty of Law (2017). In Orange Tree he specialises in translation of contractual and institutional documents from Czech to English. He also translates a wide range of legal and other texts in the other direction, focusing especially on educational and journalistic texts and subtitling.

Marina Wagnerová, Ph.D.

Marina graduated in the fields of Czech and German languages at the University of West Bohemia, and got her PhD in German Studies at Palacky University in Olomouc. During her post-graduate studies, she spent a year on a scholarship at the University of Regensburg in Germany. Her doctoral thesis dealt with the syntax and semantics of the German Criminal Code; also in her later work, she focused on the lingusitic specificities of German legal texts. During her twenty years at the Faculty of Arts of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen she continued to deal with these topics and gave lectures at Czech and foreign (Slovakia, Bavaria) universities. She also published various papers on these subjects. In Orange Tree, Marina translates from and into German, and also from and into Slovak.

Klára Kučerová

Klára earned her Bachelor’s degree in the field of Foreign Languages in Commercial Practice at the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň (2014). Currently, she studies the last year of the dual Master’s study programme of Translation: Czech and English and Interpreting: Czech and German. She has also completed a course for translators of legal texts (juridikum) organised by the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague with the German language specialisation. During her studies, Klára spent a semester at the Zittau University in Germany, the International Summer School in Translating and Interpreting in Germersheim and also worked at the front office and accounting department in the Wörth hospital. In Orange Tree, Klára translates from and into German and English.

Jana Tomečková

Jana graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, the Bachelor’s fields of English for Intercultural Communication and French for Intercultural Communication (2013), and then the Master’s programme of Translating and Interpreting for these two languages (2018). During her studies, she completed two semesters at Université Paul Valéry v Montpellier. She works as a translator and interpreter. In Orange Tree, Jana has the position of Senior Translator for English and French.

Jakub Čumíček

Jakub graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in English language and literature and a Master’s degree in English-language translations (2019). His career in Orange Tree has taken him from the position of intern to the current work as Senior Translator for the English language.

David Krejčí

David graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in English language and literature and a Master’s degree in English-language translations (2020). He also studied for two semesters at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in the field of International Commercial Law Studies. He completed an internship at Orange Tree and currently works in the company as a Senior Translator from and into English and also manages translation projects.

Jana Ježková

Jana graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno, the Bachelor’s fields of English and French language and literature (2016), and then the follow-up Master’s fields of French Translations and Literature and Intercultural Communication (2019). During her studies, she attended a summer language course in Budapest and completed a one-semester study programme at Université Libre in Brussels as well as a three-month translation internship in the European Parliament in Luxembourg. She also completed a course for translators of legal texts organised by the Masaryk University in Brno (2020). In Orange Tree, she translates from English and French and also manages translation projects.

Vendula Mináriková

Vendula graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, the Bachelor’s fields of English and Spanish for Intercultural Communication (2016) and then completed the Master’s programme of Translation: Czech and English and Interpreting: Czech and Spanish (2019). At secondary school, she undertook a three-month internship in Malgrat de Mar (Spain) and later, during her university studies, she attended Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid for one semester. In Orange Tree, Vendula works as a Senior Translator of English and Spanish languages.

Tereza Matoušová

Tereza earned a Bachelor’s degree in German for Intercultural Communication (2018) and then a Master’s degree in the filed of Translation: German-Czech (2021) in combination with Czech language studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague. She spent a year at a German grammar school, and during her university studies, she attended a summer school of translation in Germersheim and spent a semester at the University of Vienna. At Orange Tree she works as a Junior Translator from and into German and from English, and also as a proofreader.

Anna Benešová

Junior Translator

Anna graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts of University of West Bohemia, the fields of Foreign Languages in Commercial Practice, the combination of English and French (2015). She then earned a degree in the field of French Translations at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University (2018). Currently, Anna attends the Master’s study programme of English-language translations at the same faculty. During her studies, she also attended a study programme at Université d’Artois in Arras and at Université Rennes 2. She also completed a scholarship at the Czech Centre in Paris and a translation traineeship at the Secretariat of the European Parliament in Luxembourg. At Orange Tree, she works as a Project Manager and also translates from German and English.

Alena Bulantová

Alena graduated from the Masaryk University in Brno in the field of English-language Translation and is currently continuing her studies in the field of Computational Linguistics. During her time at the university, she took part in an Erasmus+ study exchange programme at Manchester Metropolitan University. In Orange Tree, Alena works as a translator of the English language.

Michael Fuček

Michael is an alumnus of Masaryk University in Brno where he received a Bachelor’s degree in English language and literature (2018) and is currently studying a follow-up Master’s programme at the same department. Michael joined Orange Tree as an intern and currently works as a Junior Translator of English.

Eliška Svejkovská

Eliška attended the secondary Grammar School in Mariánské Lázně. After graduation, she worked in the debt collection sector for several years. First, she was employed at the Distrainer’s Office in Cheb as an auction officer and then at the Pilsen Distrainer’s Office as a legal assistant. In Orange Tree, Eliška works as Office Manager and Junior Translator. She speaks English and has passive knowledge of German.

Štěpán Svoboda

Štěpán graduated from University of Hradec Králové, earning a Bachelor’s degree in the fields of English and Russian for Education, and subsequently from Palacký University Olomouc, where he earned his Master’s degree in English for Translation and Interpreting. He completed a two-semester programme of English for Translators and Interpreters at St. Petersburg State University. After completing an internship at Orange Tree, he now works in the company as a junior translator. He translates and interprets from and into English and from Russian.
